Like a mobile phone has its own telephone number. The GSM Dialer is activated by calling its sim number, it will recognize an authorized telephone number calling it, then reject the call without answering, then switch on or off the device connected to it.
Because it doesn't answer the call there are no call costs incurred.
All unauthorized callers are rejected - the relay will not be operated - making it totally secure.
